I have a 2006 tioga on a ford chassis. the generator is located at the left front behind the driver. In hot weather the generator seems to vapor lock and will not run. Can anyone give me some advise on how to correct the problem. It has been in the shop several times but i am still having the problem.any help would be very much appreciated

If your fuel line is metal, you might try one of the oldtime fixes for vapor lock. Add several wooden clothes pins snapped onto the fuel line. They act as heat sinks to dissipate some of the heat.Another possible solution is to provide soem kind of barrier to shield the fuel line from excessive heat.

Wrap the fuel line with aluminum foil. To keep it from blowing off put a few plastic cable ties or velcro straps. It transfers the heat away.
