The TV does not move. It is mounted to a metal plate that you can remove my taking out the screws. It allows access to the wiring behind the TV and the speaker wires. While I was back there I plugged in a short extension cord to the 120v outlet, I now have power access for a fan, etc. One of my speaker wires was also unplugged.
