    • Bob and I are 2010 Pace Arrow gas owners.  However, this is all new to us and we are not mechanically savvy.  We also get around 6 miles per gallon.  We would definitely like to kow if there is anything to improve the number.

We  belong to a camping group who does a lot of dry camping...  And we enjoy wtching TV at bedtime for news, etc.  Our on board geneator is noisy and othere campers asked us to turn it off at 10:00. Another. camper used his 2000 Honda generator and it was much quiter, so we tried ours and we were unable turn on anything.  Seems that there may be a surge protector in the  MOTORHOME
that prevents us from turning anything on???  Anyone know what the issue might be?  And or a solution?   Thanks

    To Robert and Terry,
For the noise, I was wondering if you had tried lenghtening the exhaust up to the top of the RV?

The issue is that the unit will not let the electricity turn on from the generator(s).  Thanks for the thought....

Oh, I. Just realized that you were speaking about our Onen on- board generator to make it more quiet??
Would that reduce the noise?  Thanks

I am planning on adding an extension to the exhaust, a frienD of mine did it anDsays it did reduce the noise, and most important the exhaust fume cannot enter in the rv

The reason that the Honda generator will not work is ..... The coach generator is wired through an automatic transfer switch...... When connected to 110v or the inboard gen this switch can be heard engaging thus providing the power through the coach. We also heave a 2010 Pace 38p..... The switch is located under the closet ward on the left side below a drawer..
