On my last trip in June I encountered issues with my levelers. They wouldn’t come down.

Not sure if it was me or the system. I had the local shop check it out, ( and replace step motor).

Levelers worked fine. They said be sure it is in park. Fleetwood manual said neutral, Which is it ?

Also, what is best cleaner and lubricant to used for maintenance of levelers.

Looking for opinions/advice

We have a 2008 Bounder 38F. Our jacks only go up and down when the rig is in Park, and the Engine is Running.

I didn't know there was a difference between gas or diesel, sorry.

We are Diesel, and as stated, we have to be in Park and the Engine has to be Running. Otherwise, our jacks will not operate.

The confusion is the difference in Gas or Diesel. Gas in park, Diesel in neutral with brake on.

Must be in park for both,I guess. Manual is wrong, it says neutral.

Bud,

No, On a gas coach there is a Park position, there is no "Park" on a diesel coach, it is neutral with the parking brake applied.

Yes Bill, you are correct, thanks for clarifying terminology for us all.

In my mind I am "parked" however the diesel control panel does not have a park position as you stated. We are in Neutral, Brake on, Engine running. Jacks working.
