I don't know your dome exactly, but most domes have to have the switches in the dome set for the proper vendor. It may be set for Dish and you want Direct. Also some of the domes require a controller box that is built to work with the dome. I know my old coach had to have the Dish 211 series receiver to make the dome work. It sends a different voltage to the dome up the coax to tell it which satellite to focus on for the channel you want to watch.

Last item, our old Bounder had a power switch in the cabinet over the driver that had to be on or the dish did nothing.
