Chassis batteries not charging on shore power

We have a 2016 Discovery 37R.   When on shore power, my chassis (starting batteries) are not charging.  When the engine is running or the generator is running, the chassis batteries are charged.

I have replaced all 6 coach batteries (2 were bad) and both chassis batteries.  Fleetwood advised that the coach batteries charge first and then the charging rolls over to the chassis batteries.  If there are any bad coach batteries, then the chassis batteries will not be charged as all the charging capacity is directed to the coach batteries.

have checked the fuses in the Battery Control Center (BCC) as directed by the Fleetwood Tech. Fleetwood Techs are stumped.  I have talked to RV Custom. the manufacturer of the BCC and he feels the  issue is in the solenoid system.

I have checked the 2 solenoids in the battery box and the 200 and 150 amp fuses, all appear good.  However, I have apparently missed something.

Currently I have a trickle charger on the chassis batteries.

    Any suggestions?

I assume the tech had you check the disconnect switch to see it is functioning properly, but I would be remiss in not asking.

The coordinated charging circuit is not that complicated but is is much easier to talk through troubleshooting steps rather that do by email or bulletin board.

    You are welcome to call.

Hello Marshall.  I gave up last week and took it to the shop.  I did have a tech that was a good friend of mine look at it about a month ago and he was not sure, but had some thoughts.  Withe the Corona Virus outbreak, it dropped in importance.

The charging circuit works, so no broken/disconnected wires, just will not charge on shore power.  Thanks for your offer.  I may be calling you if they can't figure it our....

Got a call from the shop.  Everything chassis batteries now charging on shore power.  Thought they were joking.  Picked up coach and told I should check the pedestal to be sure both legs of the 50 amp circuit have power.  Checked and good.  Also told to be sure extension to  the coach power cord wasn't corroded.  All good.

I plugged in and now chassis (starting) batteries being charged!  Over the last couple of months a friend of mine, a tech and I had checked the charging and the chassis batteries were not being charged on shore power.

Now, mysteriously they are charging.  The shop said they did nothing but check the charging at the chassis batteries and recorded 14+ volts.  The shop does routinely kill the power to the coach.  I wonder if something was reset after the house circuit was switched off.

Any thoughts?  I guess its like my computer, just reboot and most problems are fixed!!!!
