    Morning folks,

The wife and I currently have a 2020 33c Bounder which we like, but are planning on moving to a DP at the end of the year (yes, already know what kind of hit I am going to take on the trade/sell).  We really like the LXE 40M model and would like to hear what others who own an LXE think of it.  Also, with our Bounder, we get pushed all over the road with wind as well as when trucks pass us.  The salesman swears we wont have much of a problem w the trucks passing us in the LXE and unless the wind is really blowing we wont even feel it. However, these guys will say anything to make a sale. So, any info on how the LXE handles on the road would be appreciated.  Last, if we go to the 44H or a similar model will the tag provide anymore stability or not? Does the extra weight help or will it handle about the same as the 40M.   I know these forums aren't as good as being able to talk to someone, but I really do appreciate the any information others may have to share, and if I forgot something you think is important please feel free to offer advice.

    Thanks John Crowther

We have a 2014 Bounder 36e, and love it .  Purchased in 2015, husband did speak about wind, big trucks.  After talking to other rivers, and truckers, he took it to big truck facility, had extra leafs, and a special sway bar installed.  Loves it now,  says it drives like a different coach, we r happy campers...

    John,

We have a 39F Discovery and the ride is so much better than our old Bounder Diesel. The addition of V-Ride by Freightliner has made a massive ride difference.

I have a 2018 Pace Arrow  38 ft DP . I love it . We have the king bed and the washer and Dryer. The room inside when the slides are open are incredible. I do recommend the Washer/Dryer it is very handy to have .

John, we have a 2019 Discovery LXE 40M. Have only had it fo three weeks and it is our first MH. We’ve done a lot of very windy driving already, 20-30 mph cross-winds with gusts to 50 in Arizona, California and New Mexico. No previous experience to compare to but it does get pushed around, sometimes scary.

We love the coach. So comfortable and so many great amenities compared to our previous 5th wheels.

We just purchased a 2019 LXE 40m. So far we love it. I highly suggest putting a "Safety Plus on it to help with the wind.Rear Pusher is the only way to go! The only thing I can complain about is the width of the shower, I am a big guy wish it was 2in wider! Other than that, love the rig.

WE have a 2019 LXE 40M and have lived in it for 8 months or so. The handling can be vastly improved.

Our first trip out was for suspension we upgraded to Koni shocks, a bigger front sway bar, the Safe-T-Steer stabilizer and a REAR SWAY BAR the V Ride does not have one and it makes a difference. Also we had MCU pieces put in the air bags lines to reduce roll.

On the way back we were happy to have done it first thing, now we will always have the enjoyment of it. This is the third motor home to have done this to, so do know of what I speak.
