Improving sound of in-dash stereo

I have a 2018 Bounder 35K with the upgraded in-dash stereo. There are 2 sets of speakers that are controlled by the in-dash stereo; 1 set is in the bedroom and the other set is up high behind the captain chair and half covered by the drop-down bed. Since the speaker is up high and behind the driver, I have to turn up the volume high to hear music over the engine and other road noise when driving. The sound quality is not good due to the awkward speaker positioning and if I have other passengers in the coach besides someone in the co-pilot seat, we end up blasting them out since we need the volume up high for the driver to hear.

I have played with the stereo setting such as the fader and other options but it still doesn't solve the issue. I have been thinking adding additional speakers closer to the driver and passenger seats kind of like the speakers that are in the doors of a car. Do others have this same issue and what are some suggestions rectify it?

    Thanks,

    Gregg

    Gregg:

Adding additional wired speakers is one solution.  If your radio allows, you can sync a wireless speaker to it.  There are hundreds of portable Bluetooth speakers out there.  A neat option are the wireless ‘open ear’ headsets like those from Aftershokz, and also unique wireless sunglass headset from Bose.  Lastly, your unit should have an audio out RCA miniplug somewhere (front or back) that you can attach a speaker or headset to?
