Yes, did not affect the ice maker but the build up of ice, while unit was parked during the summer, burned out the circulating motor.  One cannot purchase just the motor from a service vendor, must purchase the whole plastic back, with motor, roughly $400 and I did the repair.  I now shut off breaker to the frig when leaving it stored for a while and leave the doors open.
