I have a 2000 Fleetwood Discovery 37V with an intermittent step issue. The problem appears to be the magnetic switch on the door down by the steps. The wire is deteriorating and needs to be replaced. It goes into the side-wall of the step inside the coach. After that, I don't know. Has anyone ever re-wired this switch and have any input or suggestions before I 'wade' into this issue?  Thanks, John S.
