ok sorry to keep beating a dead horse but, can anyone that upgraded their chassis with Sumo Springs chime in. Will they soften the ride and help reduce body roll?

    Hi all,

We have the same question as Jerry. We are interested in adding the Sumo Springs to our Chassis but would like to hear the pros and cons. Thanks

I put front & rears on my 33C. In my experience they did more to help with slow speed turn  body roll and the occasional front end nose dive when hitting a big bump. The did not necessarily soften ride but did reduced excessive bounciness, if hat makes sense. Mine are the one piece units, I suggest you speak with SUMO directly about their newer 2 piece unit for the front end. I have heard comments about improved ride on them.  Were they worth it? To me yes they were! On another note regarding low speed turns and driveways body roll. I found changing out my less than  6,000 mile factory SACH'S brand shocks for KONI FSD's provided and unexpected benefit of helping in that area tremendously more along with the SUMO's, at least for me they did! Ride is better too, though bad roads are still bad roads, but a decent road is great!

    Happy & Safe RV Travels!
