Fresh water dump valve, where is it

We recently bought a 2000 Fleetwood Southwind 32V. I can't find the fresh water dump valve anywhere. The owners manual said there is one to completely dump the tank.

Does anyone know where the valve is located? I have looked in every compartment with no luck.

The fresh water drain valve should be located in a lower compartment bin along with the fresh water pump and water filter.

There should be two "white" ABS pipes (approx. 2" diameter) coming out of the fresh water tank, one above the other.

One is located at the top of the tank (for air) and the other at the bottom edge of the tank. for draining.

There should be a "Ball Valve" (may have a red handle) installed on the lower pipe.

This is the fresh water drain valve.

If you still can not locate, contact Fleetwood in Decatur.

This afternoon I had a chance to look for the valve. I crawled under the home looking for the white pvc pipe and found it about the middle of the motor home near the center of the home. I looked in the compartment just behind the entry door and on an open shelf there was the valve.

I know I have looked in every compartment at least 5 times or more.but seeing the pipe coming out the bottom was the fix. I don;t really know why I didn't look into the open space behind the compartment but that is where it is. Thanks for the help.

When I opened the valve there wasn't much water left in the tank so I must have drained it with the water pump. Tomorrow I will winterize it.

I still have an electrical issue and a list of other repairs to do before next years travels.

Happy to hear that you found the drain valve.

As an FYI, we usually open the valve just before we get back home from a trip so that any water left in the tank can flow out as we drive, turn etc.

Be sure to also drain your water heater before winterizing.

I have been looking everywhere and I can not find the valve. Have a Fortis 34B 2020. I have tried to put water in the fresh tank and the water pours out of pipe located at rear passenger side. I cannot find valve to close. Cannot find 2 white pvc pipe but unable to crawl under coach due to handicap. In the cabinet with the water filter there are 3ea 1/2 tubing. Red, white and blue.

I will unscrew the panel under the mattress tomorrow and look for it, I did crawl under and did not find any tube or what looked like a drain, and report back.

    Thanks for information

Brian, I have a Flair 32S with two baths. I couldn't find mine either and used the low point drains at the water tank until I attended an FMCA rally in 2021 and was able to talk with a trainer for Fleetwood. My valve was located under the rear shower. There is a small access door on the side of the shower in the bathroom which requires the removal of 4 screws, and it is right there. If your water tank is under your bed and you have a rear shower, yours may be located in the same place.
