My wife and I took delivery of our new 2017 Pace Arrow 38L LXE
In less than 24hrs. the dash board A/C is blowing warm / hot air with the A/C switch in the on position.
So I called the dealer, and was told... that's a chassis problem! 72 miles later we delivered the 38K to the freightliner shop. The service advisor told us, "it's the heater control valve", they been installed upside down. "second one THIS WEEK"!!!
So I guess the dealer / Fleetwood figured...we'll sell them like they are, and let the end user deal with the warranty repair.
Thanks Fleetwood / Holiday World Katy Texas!
Oh, I also received the wrong manual for this unit, thanks again!
As of today, somehow Fleetwood can't produce the manual, that I should have received when we purchased this motorhome. Won't even send me one from a 2018 model...I really don't understand that.
And yes I have downloaded and printed one out. That's not the point. A person spends close to $200k, I should received all original equipment / paper work. Everything has greater value on resale, when you include the original box it came in. Again thank you Fleetwood / Holiday World Katy Texas.
UPDATE;
Last weekend my wife and I finally took the 38K on it's maiden voyage. After a summer of graduations, and a trip to Europe that had been on the calendar for over six months, we we're finally rolling in the "BIG WHEEL".
I want to inform everyone what a flawless trip we had. The 38K preformed without any problems. We made sure to run / test, every appliance, TV, washer, dryer, central vacuum, all toilets, showers, slides. We put this rig through its paces for 5 days. NO PROBLEMS! We did find a few loose screws, but that's why I bring a tool box. These small items are to be expected. A few items we had forgotten to stock in the rig...Can opener, ant killer, and insect repellant. Quick run to Walmart, and we're good to go!
We feel we're ready for the open road! One more shake down run next month to the Texas Gulf coast, then off to Florida.
