Beginning this morning, I have been getting spits and spurts of air and water out of all faucets.  Water pressure has declined.  I checked the water filter and it is clean.

I believe I need a water pump replacement but would like advice on how to diagnose problem before replacing pump.

We had a similar problem on out '13 Bounder. The pump would work sometimes then not work.  Finally replaced it and have had no problem since.  A Fleetwood rep told me they rarely replace these as they are reliable, but a repair shop said they get these periodically and keep one in stock.  Good luck.

Couple of questions. Are you connected to camp ground water? Can you hear the pump running? I don't think a pump will spew air unless it is sucking air from a cracked or broken line. At least mine doesn't. Pump just runs when holding tank is low on water with no water output. I think it would be rare for a 2 year old pump to fail. Sounds to me like camp ground water might have some low pressure issues if you are connected.
