i just bought a used 2001 Fleetwood Discovery 38D from an individual that was not much help. The big packet I got has info on all the different components but not a good comprehensive owners manual. Does such a Manuel exist. If not, I live in Lawrence Kansas (close to Kansas City) and would greatly appreciate anyone in this area with a similar coach that could show me where everything is and how it works. We have to leave in about 3 weeks for a medical facility in California for some treatments for my wife. I can be reached at 785-766-1243. We previously owned a Jayco 5th wheel, but this coach is more complicated.

You can contact Fleetwood and give them the last 6 digits of your VIN number and they will furnish you with most anything you need. Owners manual, electrical and plumbing diagrams. Same with Freightliner who you will have to contact for your chassis. Your Engine will have its own serial number and is probably a Cat who you will have to contact for engine info. I would also recommend that you join DOAI (Discovery Owners Association) they have a great forum that is strictly Discovery. Just google Discovery Owners Association. They also have what is call Discovery Friends that is a list of Discovery owners around the country that will help with issues while you are on the road. If you wish to talk off line let me know.
