The owner's manual states that I have a satellite antenna on my roof that is manually adjustable. I know we have a typical TV antenna that is manually raised and lowered and adjusted via the also typical handle in the ceiling. There is also a big dome on the forward area of the roof that looks like it houses a satellite antenna. If that is the case, I can find nothing to adjust it. There are numerous electronic devices in cabinets on both sides of the front TV. One actually appears to have something to do with a satellite. The sales guy where we bought our RV had no knowledge about what's up there. Anyone out there who might have a similar setup that can give me some idea what we are dealing with?

Alan,  I would suggest contacting the motor home manufacturer directly and ask them if they can help or

try contacting the satellite manufacturer and see if they could assist you.

    Hope this helps.

Is there a satellite box in the coach hooked up to a tv? If so, turn them on. Also turn on the switch that you said had something to do with the sat antenna. It goes without saying that you have a clear view of the sky in all directions. (Your not in the middle of a forest).  Anything happen?

I have a 2007 Southwind 35A that probably has the same unit, I did investigate the Satellite Antenna in 2013 when I bought my Motorhome, it is an very early version of a King unit (name is written on the outside of dome on the roof). It required code upgrading and etc, while I spent my whole career in High Technology it would have been somewhat difficult and  was not worth the effort, I will replace it in the future as the newer units are much better and cost around $350.
