I have a 2006 Discovery, During heavy rain events, with the drivers slide in or out, I can get some wet carpet at the bottom of the slide area behind the drivers seat?  No staining on the ceiling.  I can not figure out how the water is getting past the seal between the slide and where it seals against the motor home AND as mentioned, this can happen with the slide in or out.  I did meet another Fleetwood owner in CA that had a similar issue .

    ANy Thoughts?

It's possible the seals may not be sealing completely or may be damaged.

Have someone operate the slide and watch to see

if the rubber  on both sides of  the slide is damaged in some way.

    Hope this helps.

We have the same problem with our 02 Revolution. I'm going to have the seals checked at Quartsite this year...

We had the same problem on our 2005 Bounder 39Z Turbo Diesel.  It drove us nuts for years.  A sharp factory technician finally spotted the problem.  The rubber seal on the side window had been installed upside down by the factory.

THanks, will take a closer look.  Yesterday, I used a garden hose and wetted the window, then the lower seal part of the slide, the roof area from the slide toward the front..  Appears to allow water in when I spray over the roof so either I am getting moisture in from a small seal problem along the roof line to where the slide cover attaches or right at the top of the seal to the side of the coach.

    Thanks for the input
