House Batteries

I own a 2015 Discovery 37R. Replaced the house batteries (6) after drawing them down completely while it was in storage.  House battery voltage is correct with new batteries, however, the faulty battery light on the master panel remains on (red) indicating discharged batteries. Can't find any information in the manuals about this situation.  Tried holding down the on/off switch to reset it.  After several seconds, it turns green, but then it quickly turns red again.  Before I take it to a maintenance facility (140 miles away), does anyone have any advice/knowledge about this?

Thomas, On my 06 Discovery, anytime I disconnect from shore power and then reconnect either shore or generator, my battery indicator light will sometimes display red but most of the time yellow. Light will stay yellow for some time. It sounds like you are in storage with no shore power to trickle charge your batteries. Are you a member of DOAI (Discovery Owners Association Inc)? The forum is great with many very long time and knowledgable Discovery owners. I am sure someone on the forum would have a answer or suggestion to your problem.

Thank you for the information James.  Didn't know that DOAI existed!

Occasionally when I start my 2016 Excursion, I get a low voltage warning on the dash and the Energy Monitor panel.  Rig always starts fine and the warning then goes away.  Check with the National Service center people and they say that is a misleading warning caused by the power pull when starting the rig.  When it happens, the batteries are fully charged.  So a warning of a problem that does not exist.
