    Hey All;

       I have the rear radiator on my Revolution. I've had this problem 3 times. When it starts overheating while traveling, I have to periodacally clean it. Since I can't get to the front of the radiator (the end closest to the fan) I do this by first using a water hose and forcing water through the rear radiator fins. I let it dry for a day, then come back and start the engine to heat up the radiator. I then spray an "engine degreaser" through the rear fins of the radiator and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. I then go back to the water hose and flush the fins again. Doing this procedure gives me about 18 months of no to low overheating or about 12k miles of driving. Was wondering if anyone else has a similar problem and what you do to help this situation???

    Gary,

    Overheating is always a topic on some of the other forums, ( Diesel RV, Discovery, RV2) seems like cleaning radiator annually is not uncommon. So if you are getting 18 months, that is probably pretty good.There is also a lot of disscussion about the slober tube and where it vents. I would suggest going to the Diesel RV Club forum. There are a lot of great tips on overheating and other diesel engine topics and RVs in general.
