Heavy Condensation on Inside of Windshield

I have a brand new 2016 Flair.  Yes, the same one that sat in the shop for 4 months.  We took the RV to an RV park about 200 miles away.  It rained that night. The following morning there was an extreme amount of condensation (or so I thought) on the inside of the windshield. While wiping it I noticed a pool of water that spanned the entire length of the windshield, almost reaching the windshield vents.  Is it possible that we could have had that much condensation or should I suspect a leak in the windshield?  We drove back through some heavy rain and as far as we can tell there were no issue with water infiltration.

    Any help is appreciated.

It is condensation -  we had the same thing happen to us in out 2015 Bounder 35K.  We noticed it is worse when we run the gas heat.  Not as bad when running the heat pump.

I had the issue with puddled water at the windshield.  Turned out that I had a leak where the seal was not properly glued.  Look for any part of the seal that is pulled away from the glass.
