No Hot Water

    Hey  All;

       I'm having a problem with no hot water in my 2002 Revolution 40C. My hot water heater is lighting off and if I pull the over-pressure on the top of the face of the heater it pushes out hot water. When I turn on any of the hot water facets or turn the shower's lever to hot, all I get is cold water. I've drained half a tank of fresh water and filled up the grey water tank half way by letting the hot water faucets run. Also, once I open up a faucet and let it run for a couple of minutes, the hot water tank fires off and starts heating water. There are a couple of valves just to the rear of heater. One says Normal in one position and then Bypass in the other position. The other is just an unmarked lever that I can either point straight up or straight down. Any idea what;s going on here??? Thanks.

    WE were having problems getting hot water to the kitchen.  I call tech support and the advised there in only cold going and hot coming out of the water heater.  They advised me to check to see if the outside faucet was open and in my case both the cold and hot valves were in the open position after closing the valves we had hot water throughout the motorhome.

    Sounds like the Hot water heater was bypassed to allow winterization.

    Reposition the bypass valverxnahws and you should see a change.

    Hey All;

    i looked at both suggestions. The Bypass/Normal valve is in the Normal position so that should be OK. However, Henry's idea looks like the winner. I checked the "Dog Washing Station"  and it appears that both the cold and hot water valves are broken. I can't get either valve to turn off no matter how far I turn them. I will be in Manteca, CA starting tomorrow and will look for a replacement faucet setup and swap it in. Thanks again for the great suggestions.

    Hey All;

       I replaced the dog shower faucet. The valves were broken in the old one. Now with the new faucet installed I now have NO water (either hot or cold) coming out of ANY of the hot water faucets or shower. Still have all of the cold water I need. Bypass/Normal is in NORMAL position. No hot water coming out of the Hot Water Drain. It just appears that it is working like there is a Hot Water Shutoff somewhere. Is there???

    It appears to me that the Check Valve in the back of the hot water heater is broken and does not let the hot water flow.  Sometimes  the valve is hard to get to but I bet that is your problem if you have no hot water anywhere.

    Hey William;

       Turns out the check-valve was stuck. i never knew that there was a check-valve in the system. I replaced the check-valve with a valve and now we finally have hot water again. So I think I had more than one problem, but thanks to everyone's help I got it fixed. Thanks again to everyone.
