Noise from brake pedal

We have a 2015 Bounder 35K. After going on a long weekend with the graqndson we stopped to fill up the gas tank. When I stared to crank back up and leave I push down on the brake pedal - with the switch off - and heard a noise?? Brakes work OK on the way home and it still did it after we parked.

Any ideas??

Don't quote me but I believe it is an electric brake pump, which provides braking in event of engine failure while driving. At least that is what I was told. Our Bounder made the same noise.
