I have a 2006 Discovery.  The other day my keyless entry would not work so I changed the battery assuming that would help.  But it did not.  The remote lights up to indicate it is  transmitting but it does not lock or unlock the door.  Anyone else encounter a problem like this.

Try cleaning the contact points on the inside door frame (where the door hinges are).  They corrode & then do not make contact for the fob, but they sell operate the steps.

This cleaning worked on my 2014 Revolution.

    Hello

Each time your replace a battery on those things, you have to reprogram them!.,there should be a simple how to manual online.

We had same problem in our 2005 Bounder 38N.  Camping World in Vacaville, CA said the main sensor under the dash was bad and could not get a replacement part.  We took it to an Auto Electronic shop and they installed and aftermarket unit.  Cost was $400 and they got the patio light to flash to indicate locking/un-locking.
