I had a similar problem with unhooking my Chevy HHR toad with the road master system. Appears that the toad and RV were not aligned putting pressure on one of the pins (one was easier to remove than the other). I had to hammer the stuck pin out. Here is what I did:
1: Set Toad brake
2. Released pins on both arms of the tow system
Not sure you have the same issue but hope this helps.
Towed is 03 chev tracker, tried to be sure towed is in line with MH when disconnecting, yes 1 pin usuallu comes out easier also find vehicle should be as flat as possible and also suggestions to move steer wheel to rite or left to take pressure off hitch. the other day took me about 30 min. to disconnect I do spray silicone to pins and use a drift pin to punch the jammed pin out using hammer. I think the tow bar connections are worn to a point the tork just enough to jam the pin. have contacted Roadmaster with no help suggestions except cleaning the tow bar I sprayed silicone on areas they suggested.
May be its time to look into Blue Ox
