Am questioning HOW many others are confused, unaware of the Good Sam National General "replacement" insurance coverage.

When I bought my coach I understood I enjoyed replacement coverage during the current and four subsequent model years.  I also understood that AFTER that phase expired, I enjoyed a second phase that , on a total loss, provided me the original coach's purchase price "IF" applied toward the purchase of a NEW coach and I could produce the original bill of sale to confirm purchase price.

Reviewing my declaration page in depth and challenging line items I am told that second phase ONLY became available in Feb 2005 and to be operative must be listed on your declaration page as "replacement coverage" bearing an additional premium.  Coaches older than the introduction date of Feb 2005 are ineligible for replacement coverage.

Was I the only one confused? Also, I think their declaration page SUCKS!!  Specifically, why call Comprehensive "Other than collision" and NOT specify the type of Collision coverage, ie Broad, Std, Limited, etc?
