Can anyone tell me if a diesel pusher with side mounted radiator allows debris from the road entering the engine compartment from below and exiting through the rear grating on the coach thus hitting the vehicle in tow? I am considering a "guard" for the front of my towed car. Do rear mounted radiators have the same issue? Are rear mounted radiators susceptible to the debris hitting the radiator core? It appears that the rear mud flap directs air etc. from below the coach to aid in engine cooling. Any thoughts?
