Not sure if yours will be the same, but......

We had a 2006 Discovery with the W/D combo.  It was mounted in the corner of our bedroom.  To remove the unit you had to remove a short strip of  wood that ran across the bottom of the opening that exposed the "feet" of the w/d.  You could then slide the w/d out of its cabinet.  We had ours worked on at Camping World and they scarred up the remaining woodwork below the opening by sliding the w/d across the exposed surface.  Not bad since when reinstalled it was mostly masked by re-installing the strip below the washer.
