Remote key fob dead bolt lock on Discovery Motorhome

    Greetings.   I have a 2014 Discovery and am experiencing spotty functional operation with the keyfob.   Is there an internal switch that needs to be activated in order for the keyfob to work consistently?   I send this question to the Fleetwood Customer Service website and never received a response which was disappointing.   any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Mike:  I had the same problem with my 2007 Discovery. At first I thought the problem would be with the FOB battery so I replaced it. That did not help. I then located the electrical contacts between the door frame and door. I cleaned them with a pencil eraser and it solved my problem.
