SONY in dash radio, nav, hands free Bluetooth

We have a '12 American Revolution with the SONY in dash system.  The Sirius radio only worked on the 1800 mile drive home after we bought it.  Then it was spotty.  For a while, it worked every other day.  Then this year it wouldn't work at all.  Luckily it got FM reception or we paired a phone to the Bluetooth and listened to Sirius that way.

We noticed the navigation system was meant for a small car after it repeatedly took us down streets we had no business going and had to back out.  We subscribed to Smart Truck Route as a work around and it saved us.  Then bought a Magellan nav system that was designed for Big Rigs and RVs.

The hands free phone function never worked correctly.  It would connect but no one could understand a word I said.

On a trip through Florida this year I stopped at a little car stereo shop and they replaced the SONY with a Pioneer 5000 NEX.  We now get XM/Sirius every day.  It has a selectable nav system from car to Big Rig truck.  We picked the Bus option and it works great.  And the hands free microphone is very clear and understandable.  What a difference a new piece of equip has had on the quality of our travels!

Next we're going to replace the SONY BluRay surround sound system with something that actually works because this one never has.  Anyone have a good one to recommend?
