On the last trip in our 2008 Tioga SL 31W the TV wouldn’t find any channels in a park we normally got decent over the air service. A couple of climbs to the roof with a spare cable to go direct from the Winegard batwing to TV didn’t work (didn’t fix the TV problem, climb to the roof worked fine). On return home I pulled out an old digital antenna and isolated the problem to the antenna side of the distribution box. Looks like both the batwing and the cable from it to the distribution box no longer work. Replacing the batwing head is a couple of bolts but replacing the cable through the ceiling is a challenge. Anyone know how to get at the cable? I also didn’t see any way to get the wood box the distribution unit mounts in off the wall to get at that area to try to fish a cable through the ceiling. Not being the original owner I don’t really know what was OEM. The box might have been added.
