A protector is a must for ALL RV's.  The electric in many parks is not very reliable.  Ours has saved the RV systems more than once.

I'd suggest that you get on that Is build into the service bay.  I've heard of them being stolen from the service pole.  Plus its one less thing to hook up & take down.
