Greetings James
It is a known issue on earlier year model digital display screens where the organic glue delaminates internally creating bubbles. Freightliner has a replacement screen now using synthetic glue but since it is after the 3 year warranty on your coach, it reportedly costs over $6000 at a Freightliner shop as it requires reprogramming to match your VIN and actual mileage by a technician.
There is a company MTC Screens that offers several options ranging from option (1) you sending your screen back to them for $1600 and about a week later they return to you repaired, or option (2) you can order just the outer display screen kit and a DIY at home for same $1600 price but you must carefully disassemble the glass screen, remove all old glue, prep and reassemble in a dust free environment to do it yourself (slight risk of breaking screen). Option (3) you can buy a refurbished trade in where they send you a repaired unit and you swap yours from the existing module and must return your damaged screen to them at a cost of $2400.
The downside is your time and effort removing dash access panels and trim to get the display out of the dash to replace screen. If you can go without the coach for about two weeks to send yours in, this is the preferred lower cost option.
