Just following up.  Were you able to determine what was wrong and the remedy so if others experience this issue in the future they may search for your solution?

have you tried to rinse using the Camco Tank Rinse with Shut Off valve and a garden hose with a water garden hose attachment flow meter to verify gallons to back fill the grey tank without exceeding the capacity and then dump, repeating several times?
