I flat tow a Jeep Gladiator with a Blue Ox tow bar.  You can easily internet search for a list a vehicles that can be towed.  And as you narrow down your choices, check with the manufacturer’s manuals (on line usually) to be certain they make the ‘can be’ or cannot be’ flat towed.

Jeep Wrangler in #1. But you could tow a VW GTI manual if you want a better gas mileage.

Have a friend in our home park that just bought a 2025 Chevy Trax to tow behind her B-van. Less than 3500 lbs, as that’s the max tow weight for the van

We tow a 2017 Ford Explorer without any difficulty.  I believe the Ford Explorers through 2019 will also work.

We tow a Ford Maverick. The hybrid (at least in year 2022, but I don't believe it has changed) is the only Maverick that can be flat towed. Great gas mileage at 44 mpg. Highway driving will lower the mpg. Easy to put into tow mode. Tip: if you decide on a Maverick, stay away from the Blue Ox base plates. They have a high failure rate. If anyone would like more info on the Maverick for towing or the Blue Ox base plates failures let me know. Happy to share more details.
