City water to fresh water tank fill

My 2014 Bounder 35K , When I'm on city water feed and my 12v water pump is off the citywater is also

slowly filling my fresh water tank. I thought is was because the city water to tank fill valve was probably

leaking by. I replaced the 1/4 turn fill valve only to find the fresh water tank still being slowly filling.

My question is " Is there a check valve between the 12v electric pump and the tank " I'm thinking

something is leaking back through the pump and into the tank.

                Thanks in advance,  Don

On my bounder there is a "Fill Fresh water" valve in the wet bay. Maybe that valve is bad. It doesn't make sense that there would be a different one besides that.

It is probably your Anderson valve. They have changed the valve since 2020 to prevent that.

It is the fresh water fill valve I was referring to. I had changed it out but the issue still remains.

Now I'm wondering if it is back filling through the water pump. It doesn't fill fast but in a couple of hours the fresh water tank overflows.

Is the Anderson valve the " tank fill valve" if so, that's the one I replaced.

I appreciate the responses, thank you

It your valve looks like the attached photo that is the culprit. They have since changed the material of this valve to a brass. You can find the replacement here.  https://www.andersonbrass.com/rv-solutions

    Good luck.

Thanks Stephen and Susan for the reply,

My setup is a little different, my city water tank valve is an independent valve.

I'm trying to upload a photo but no luck for some reason.
