not getting any sound, it is clear it is playing but no sound. Sometimes there is a message that the speakers are not connected properly?

    thanks in advance,

Sounds like you need an audio tech. Any local good tech should be able to help. Sounds like the connection the back of the receiver is loose.

Those Kenwoods are heavy and rattle around a lot. We hit a bump and ours literally flew out of the dash. If you have the two tools and manual that should be in your manual bag, you can remove the head and ensure all cables in the back are attached. Good luck.

There is an outside chance the Fader (front to back) is set to the back.

If not, pull the stereo and use a spare speaker attached to short wires to test the output to the back radios harness.
