Need to get behind outdoor TV 2020 Fleetwood Flair 29M

Greetings I am trying to attach a second HDMI cable to the outdoor TV on my 2020 Fleetwood Flair 29M.

I found the access panel under the bathroom sink. Even with the access panel removed I cannot get my fingers down to where the empty HDMI port is located.

I read online that with some brands of RVs you just grab both sides of the TV and push up and the TV will unhook itself allowing you access to the ports. Is this the case with my Flair?

Can anyone give me any advice or point me in the right direction of how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

The TV should be mounted with about 8 Phillips screws along the sides of the TV. Use a flashlight and a long Phillips screw driver along with a helper to hold the TV. It is a quick easy job and the TV is lite. I did the same as you are doing to install a Firestick and it took 5 minutes.

If you have outdoor speakers mounted close to the tv, you might be able to reach the HDMI port on the tv by pulling one of the speakers out and reaching through the hole to plug the HDMI cable in..It worked for me on my 2013 Expedition's outdoor tv.

Unfortunately it’s just not possible to get to the mounting screws from the outside. On the right side of the TV I have about 2 inches and can get my hand in past my fingers. On the left side there is about 6 inches and can get my arm in up to my elbow. I’m still at lease a foot away from any mounting screws.

Luckily I figured out a solution to get a plug in using the inside access panel under the bathroom sink. I took 2 each 90 degree HDMI adapters and attached them together. This left me a flat surface to push on with that tip of my pinkie finger. Somehow I managed to push it in the HDMI slot! Problem solved.

Now I just pray that I never have to replace the TV since I will be back to square 1!
