2013 Disco 40G big wall slide won't retract

We bought our DP in April. The previous owner had mice in the rv and had to have the big wall slide repaired due to wire damage from the mice. When we got the rv, we moved the slide in and out a few times on our journey back home. Once home, the rv sat in the drive for a couple of weeks with the slides out. Then we decided to move the rv to another location. We pulled the slides in moved it and everything worked. Once again, it sat with the slides out while we did work to the interior. During this time we had a 50 amp service installed on the house and plugged the rv into shore power. For about 2 months it was plugged in to shore power but I forgot to disconnect the main batteries so yesterday we couldn't start the motor. I jumped the batteries with the house batteries to get the rv started. I then tried moving the big slide in and no go. It starts to move, only about an inch or two before it just stops. I assume the motors are getting overloaded and they stop. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I can't see anything interfering with the slide except that I can see a wad of carpet from the outside at the beginning of the master bedroom. I have no idea if it is supposed to be like that or not. Please help.

I wanted to provide an update in case anyone else comes across this same issue. When the slide would not come in, I tried to extend it again and then tried to retract again. This was suggested on youtube. Anyway, I think that originally my slide would not move because I didn't have enough battery power. But with me moving it in and out a few times it ended up overextending, supposedly due to the controller going out. Once it was over-extended, it bent a track that one roller rides on and it couldn't get back over the track. Once the controller was replaced, the entire slide had to be jacked up to get it moving in. So, it works now but I've got a bent roller track right where the living room and bunkhouse meet. This should not be a problem as long as the slide doesn't over-extend again.

If you are having issues with your slide I would recommend stop extending and retracting and check your main battery voltage. The higher the better, preferably over 13 volts. Also, it could help to put your coach in high idle. This is done during idle by turning cruise on, and then pressing the set button. The engine rpms will increase.
