I'm a first-time owner of a 34' 2000 Pace Arrow. What is the best way to have interior power without running the generator while driving? You can tell I have a lot to learn. That's why I joined the group.

Your inverter provides power for some of your items while driving. It will not power AC units or other heavy loads. The generator manual calls for it to run under load 1 hour per month to keep it running well. Our answer is to run it to power the AC while we drive.

Doug, start your RV, make sure your Main and Aux breakers are on, and your power inverter/converter is on.

You should find that electrical plugs near or wired for TV work.  You may find a couple in other areas like bath or under the overhead kitchen cabinet. Easiest way to check, is go around (when you know you have full house batteries) and plug a lamp into each socket.

Thank you for your advice. Shortly we are driving from Phoenix to Dallas and want to make sure the refrigerator stays cold.
