Hello Group. Need some advise regarding battery upgrade. Currently I have 6 x 6V flooded batteries and planning to replace them with 6 x 12 V 100 AMPs or ( 120 Amps ) Lithium Batteries. I assume the new batteries will have to be wired parallel to maintain 12 V. My inverter / charger Magnum 2800 W is adapted to handle/ charge Lithium Batteries. Is there anything else I should add/ be concerned about while replacing these flooded batteries with Lithium ? Of course FireFly will have to be change to new parameters as well.

Also. Currently I have 300 W solar panel factory installed on the roof. If I add another one 300 W solar would I have to upgrade 30AM solar controller ( also factory installed )

    Thank you in advance

Pick the layout out of your new batteries and order custom length and gauge wires.  They’re aer places online, and they deliver in about a week.. Going from 6 6V golf cart batteries to six BattleBorn (or whatever brand) will free up a lot of cable space.  Not to mention that 3  lithium 100’s supplies about 8hrs more draw/run time as 4 of what you have now.

Make sure you measure the height width and length of what you have now!   Your battery tray is welded to size.  I have heard tales of folks who failed to measure and barrel their way through  with torches, hacksaws, etc. to make do.  Don’t be that guy.
