Slide Room Roof Leak

I have a 2014 Fleetwood, Discovery 40e. The drivers side slide decided to leak yesterday into the kitchen cabinets. This slide is the entire length of the RV.

I was trying to figure out how the inside molding comes off? The space between the top of the molding and ceiling make it impossible to see anything. So I want to pull this oversized molding off to see why it is leaking.

Anyone know how these are secured? Also what has anyone found to be the cause. The leak looks to be coming from right behind the molding..

The likelihood is the exterior seal is the point of the leak. There are 2 seal points to check. First is the rubber seal. With slide toppers in place it is more difficult to apply conditioner to this seal, so it is often neglected. 2nd is the tape that seals the metal edge of the slide roof to the actual slide roof. When I removed my slide topper I found multiple areas where the the had failed. A trip to the hardware store for 4 inch window seal tape by pella solved the problem. We then put some Damprid in the cabinets to dry things out.

I figured out how to pull the trim. When I got it off I was able to see where the previous owner used Eternabond tape on the inside flange, two layers. The roofing membrane is wrinkled which lets water pool up again right next to the flange. I also found one of the water leak sources. When they reattached the trim the screws were to long and went through the flange just above the roof membrane protruding all the way through. When I pulled the screws water came through..
