The issue was likely a dead compressor but it was “unrepairable” because the refrigerant used is highly explosive and most appliance repair people refuse to work on it. We had to have it replaced. Hopefully you have better luck than we did.
Ours is a 2020 and an RF18. It seems to be the standard model that REV uses. I suspect the issue is the same as you experienced. We are back to Canada in a couple of weeks so will deal with it then. What unit did you get as a replacement?
