My windshield blind will not go up or down, it is getting power but only moves about 1-2 inches before it stops.

Coincidently a push button switch with two 6" wire leads is now hanging off the right side of the blind (Passenger side) .

i have tried pushing the switch hoping a reset or limit is the issue, no luck.

Is there an encoder on the motor ?

any ideas ?
