We are traveling to a "Good Sam" RV Rally in Syracuse, NY mid June and then to my hometown area north of Pittsburgh, PA.  Not many RV parks around, but we always look for RV parks that can accomodate our 40+ footer coach and toad.  Not many in that area...any suggestions?

We are going to miss the FMA rally in CO this year because we will be preparing for  a 23 day Alaskan adventure  August 10---30/  ....would like to hear from those who have  driven  diesel coaches to Alaska because Jerry still wants to do so, maybe next year.  This year is  a tour land and sea with John Hall's Alaska.  Sure hate to miss that  CO rally but just couldn't make it with other Alaska plans.  .

A couple years ago we went to NC in the fall to another rally.  We have good friends in the Raleigh area but that area has no RV parks, just hotels.  We stayed at a place out in the woods, Birchwood  which was all we could find, it was OK, but too far from everything and the congested metro traffic there was a nightmare.  Suggestions?

We prefer RV parks that can accommodate bigger coaches...

We live in Raleigh,NC and want to let you know that there is a new addition to the Campground at the Raleigh Fair Grounds. They have large sites to accommodate large MH'S and Horse trailers. It is first come with no reservations. Therefore , I would not plan a trip during the State Fair in October.  Let me know if you are interested and I will provide you with more information. All sites have 50 Amp service and full hook ups with very strong water pressure.
