washers will work, but not the wipers. has anyone had this problem

I have not had this problem before but it sounds as if you have a loose connection some place. The washer would work even if the wipers don't as the little pump for the washer gets it power through a different wire.

Try a fuse located under dash on drivers side . I had a similar issue on my 2010 Pace Arrow..... The wiper arm was rubbing on the hood cover creating a load on the motor thus blown fuse !
