We are writing to ask what, if any, precautions are being taken to reduce/prevent the likelihood of COVID-19 spread at the Rally this year. With numbers skyrocketing across the country and in again in FL. We are beginning to rethink our ability to attend…but knowing what to expect with regard to precautions will be greatly appreciated. The new variant is bypassing majority of vaccinations and anyone people who have had Covid previously if longer than 90 days ago…so while hospitalizations and deaths are much less likely for us, we would still prefer not to get sick.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

It is certainly understandable that you are concerned regarding your health with possible exposure to covid.  The CDC recommends regular hand washing, using hand sanitizer, and the voluntary wearing of masks indoors in public gatherings. There are, however, no mask mandates in the state of Florida and any precautions taken are the individual's responsibility. With that said, we hope that the rally attendees make every attempt to stay safe and will choose not to expose others if they are experiencing any symptoms.

You may also contact Oak Alley RV Resort directly regarding any additional precautions or restrictions they may have in place.

Thanks for the reply. Will there be an option to get your buffet dinner to go. Classes aren’t a big concern but eating with a table full of strangers, probably not something we would do. Just wondered if take out for those meals is an option.

If anybody needs to come to this rally it would be a Walter and I. We are newbies with a used 2014 fleetwood Terra de 31’. We have so many questions. But we opted out because we thought we would be in close proximity to hundreds of people. We would love to make new friends but guess we will wait until another time.

While the dining area is linen covered tables, real plates and silverware, we have tried to make room for concessions on folks that decide to grab and go.   Please note, directly after dinner is the scheduled entertainment.  You are welcome to mask up and return for the fun, if that suits you.
