We have a very loud SQUEAK coming from the right side of the dash.  We have taken it in several times, but the dealer has not been able to repair the problem.  It is at its worst when the weather is cool and damp and usually goes away when the air warms up.  It is so loud that we cannot hear the radio or each other.  It is not an annoying squeak, it is the father of all SQUEAKS and sounds, to my ear at least, like vinyl on vinyl.  Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how did you get it fixed?

I found my noise at the passenger front corner of the dash underneath.  It seems they stripped some of the mounting screws at assembly and they are loose.  All sorts of noises.  I tightened/repaired/replace/reengineered some of the offending dash fastening points and now all is well.  I have noticed several stripped screw holes on many areas of the coach.  Cabinet doors, body panels etc.  I think this is due to the use of powered tools vs hans tools.  We have a 2012 Southwind 32 and love it, but I would like to have the assembly lines ear at Fleetwood to discuss this.  Also some stripped/broken cabinet door supports caused noise which I replaced.  I am also replacing the fasteners in the ceiling trim over the drivers slide.  The staples used vibrate out and if you are not watching, the trim can get caught in the slide when extending.  Paneling nails and screws are better.  Just minor maintenance as far as I am concerned but really quiets the coach.  Hope this helps :)

Thank you for your input.  I was beginning to think that I was not going to have any responses.  We really like our Southwind, except for the squeak.  Again, thank you for your response.
