Anyone seen this before, water is coming into the shower floor from the drain.  Fairly clear, but quite a stench.  There does not appear to be any trigger, even happens during the night while we are sleeping.  Water pump is off and water supply is from park and flows nicely to all faucets and shower.  All holding tanks are fairly empty, thinking it has to be some kind of back pressure valve in line before the Grey water tank, thoughts anyone?  Rig is a 2008 SouthWind.  Thanks,,,MARK

We have had this on or '13 Bounder 35K a few times but it has always been when the grey tank was getting full.  If I drain dish water from the kitchen sink the shower drain will bubble up.  No foul order.  Once I drain the tank the issue is resolved.

I'm looking forward to other comments.  Good luck.

When we bought our used 2016 Southwind the double sink in the galley was almost totally clogged.  After trying several remedies (other than tearing apart plumbing) we poured several 2 liter bottles of cheap cola down that sink as well as the lavatory in the head and the shower.  Let it sit several hours, adding a little more cola occasionally, and it solved the problem.

thanks all, will try suggestions and let everyone know.  I've been thinking that it might perhaps have something to do with the vent, Like if the vent was plugged with a hornets nest it might be preventing good flow to the Grey tank.  Does anyhow know where to find the plumbing diagrams, like exactly where all talks are at, where the fittings are all at.  The only vent I've been able to find is from Fresh Water

At one point I thought our vent lines were clogged as well.  This was due to smell not a back up.  The only vents on our '13 Bounder 35K are the black vent and grey vent on the roof.  I had to remove the vent caps then run a hose with full blast nozzle down the vent.  Be SURE you drain line is open!  This way I  knew odors could escape the tanks freely.  It helped a lot.  If there is a clog in the vent this might be a way to break it up.  We have 2 toilets and I know of no other vents other than the 2 on the roof from black and grey.

Thanks all for the suggestions, very helpful and led to resolution.  The problem in the end was that the tank was full, all the other tank monitors work accurately and the green light works for grey water but yellow and red are not working.  So looks like i've got a new tank full indicator as I suspect fixing the pickup sensor inside the tank is far beyond worth the effort and time.
