I'm new to the Forum and this is my first problem. I went to move coach after almost two months sitting and after starting I could not get it out of park. I went around checking things like my levelers and the step and saw nothing. After a few minutes ideling I sat back down and it worked fine. Do I have a real problem waiting to catche me out somewhere to get stuck? What caused this to happen?

This can also happen if the steering is in a bind and if rotated it will release.

I have had it happen to me in the past and what I had to do was turn the ignition to on without starting the engine, apply foot to brake pedal and then move the gear selector to neutral. At that time I could start the enengine and move the motor home. Never did discover what caused it to happen in the first place.

My steering wheel locked & I was unable to turn the key on. As a solution from Workhorse, they said to grab the steering wheel with both hands & try turning the wheel ( while applying force ). At the same time have someone turn the key on. It worked
