We replaced our vacu system in our 2013 Bounder 35K with macerator about 4 years ago.  After 3 system failures and sewage in the bays we had had enough.  The replacement  took several days and was done by an RV service center.  I could not have done it myself but maybe you can.  It involved considerable carpentry as well as plumbing and electrical.  At that time we were full timers and I had few tools, no real work space and no where to use the facilities.  We actually took a vacation while the work was done.  One thing we did was to set each toilet up independently.  This way if one went out we still had one that worked.  Nether has failed.  I do not recall the price because we also had flooring replaced and several other items taken care of. We have a 2014 Bounder 36e, has vacuflush in master bath with a macerator, and we have never had a problem w stoppage or malfunction.  Had more problem w front half bath and the gravity functioning toliet..guest using too much paper!  Good news is macerator works well, remember lots of water is the secret when using.
